There's more to your roofing system than just shingles! Underlayment and ventilation are crucial components to keeping your home protected. We go above and beyond building code and place underlayment on all our new and re-roofing projects, so you have peace of mind knowing your roof has that extra layer of defense.
We also make sure your roof has adequate ventilation! Did you know that most roofs do not have enough air flow? For every 300 square feet of attic space, your roof requires one square foot (144 square inches) of ventilation. Why is this so important? Inadequate ventilation can lead to problems with moisture build up in your attic and ice damming.
IKO® StormShield® Ice & Water Protector
IKO® StormShield® Ice & Water Protector is a self-adhesive membrane which we apply on the eaves to protect against ice damming and wind-driven rain, as well as in valleys and any other areas that may be susceptible to water leakage. For more information on this product click here.
Synthetic Roof Felt
Synthetic roof felt is a synthetic underlayment which is applied to the roof deck before installation of shingles. It is a durable, light-weight product which helps to shed water and provides a second layer of protection to your entire roof.

Duraflo® WeatherPro 75 is a box style roof vent providing 75 square inches of net free venting area. This is the standard vent we use on our roofing projects. It provides sleek, low-profile ventilation that doesn't stand out and distract from other features of your roof.
